Response to Nevada Concerned Citizens: Candidate Questionnaire 2002

The following is a
transcription of the original letter received by the campaign from Nevada
Concerned Citizens, as well as my response:
Dear Candidate:
Thank you for your interest
in public office. We recognize the sacrifices that are involved in running a
serious campaign.
Nevada Concerned Citizens
(NCC) is a broad-based organization of citizens from diverse backgrounds,
occupations, faiths and experiences. The members of our organization are interested
in many issues at all levels of government.
We have enclosed a
questionnaire that addresses a variety of issues. If you are interested in
having your views represented in the voter guides we publish, please complete
and return it by July 1st. We distribute tens of thousands of voter
guides each election season.
Please make any added
comments brief. Comments may or may not be included in the voter guides.

Dear Ms. Lusk:
Thank you for your recent
letter. My responses to your Candidate Questionnaire 2002 are enclosed. I found
several of the questions didn’t adequately address my views with simple yes/no
answers. To that end I enclosed short comments after every answer.
These comments, as well as
your original questionnaire with my responses, will be posted to my campaign
web site at www.lanestartin.org for the public’s information.
I hope your questions have
been answered on this matter. If you would like any further information please
